I'm an animation major, going into my second year at VSU as a graduate student. I'm a huge fan of animation and of Disney, so it's only natural that I would follow a lot of art blogs and watch professional artists on DeviantArt. This includes Tom Bancroft, who has worked on such films as Mulan, The Lion King, and Aladdin to name a few. So here's my problem: I want to ask him, like, a billion questions aboutbasically everything he may know. Basically any advice he would give to a young wannabe animator. How he got his start, what inspired him to draw, if he had any issues with self-esteem (like I'm having) and how that affected his art,

Complexion of a popular primary color

So, after weeks of procrastinating and utter poorness (Yay Christmas, money!) I finally saw Megamind today. Got up early because...Yeah, I just wanted to see it early so I could go to Borders later. I'm a book nerd. :D Anyway, the movie started at 10:00 and I was in there by 9:50. Place was completely empty. And I mean completely. There was no one in the theater, and not only that, but they shoved it all the way towards the back and around the corner. Like, you wouldn't even notice it was there unless you walked all the way to the end of theater. But, hey, I did wait until the last possible second to see it, so no surprise there. :shrug: A
